Peter William Blaxill 

September 27, 1931 – May 9, 2026

Our beloved co-founder, dear, dear friend and colleague passed away on May 9, 2026.

With his wit, charm extraordinaire and tenacious work ethic,Peter both helped create and maintain Break A Leg Productions over many years. Without his partnership, BAL would not exist today!

Peter was both an Actor and Poet , bringing his dramatic talent to roles on Broadway, Off Broadway, Off Off Broadway with extensive work in regional theatre: including The Kennedy center.

As a poet , he was published in the First Literary Review-East and The New York Quarterly.

He is the author of “Whenever The Wind Blows, I will go”, a book of poetry published in 2019.

He was a graduate of the Birch Wathen School and Bard College.

He is survived by his niece and nephews and many grandnieces and grandnephews.
