Break A Leg’s 2026 Annual One-Act Slam will be on September 26th at 2 pm at Polaris North Studio (235 West 29th Street), and we are happy to announce that submissions will open on May 1st! Submissions will remain open until June 1st. Plays must run 15-20 minutes in length. The theme is New York State of Mind: plays written by playwrights in the tristate area about the New York City (metropolitan area) experience. After the performance of the selected plays, the audience votes on the plays. The WINNING PLAYWRIGHT with the most votes from the audience receives $100 from Break A Leg Productions.
